All About Us

Thomas The Chef & Co Owner
My interest in food started at the age of thirteen, I followed Jamie Oliver and his programmes on tv, at the age of fourteen I volunteered at Jamie Olivers ministry of food in Rotherham. I enjoyed my time there, so much so that I continued to volunteer throughout my college years. During my four years at Doncaster college I won various competitons one of them being The Unilever and Outward Bound Trust Award for Young Apprentice of the Year at the age of 16
I then went onto working in hotels and restaurants, catering for large volume events,
al a carte restaurants and weddings.
I prefer to cook using fresh ingredients, I believe this is what cooking is. I spend a lot of time developing and sourcing the right ingredients for our menus, only the best will do! This is what makes our catering outlet unique.

Rachel The Events Coordinator &
Co Owner
My experience is customer focused, I have been a Customer Service Manager for an online company for over ten years. Whilst on Maternity leave in 2015 with my first child my brother had a brilliant idea, lets buy a converted American School Bus! Me knowing what a great chef my brother was I agreed. I was heavily pregnant at our first two events, it was very challenging but fun. Its been many years since I was in the catering business, I worked in the food mall in Meadowhall when I was young as a head commi waitress. My role is to research and book events/festivals, market our business and ensure all licenses/certificates and paperwork are upto date. Although I am prodomantley office based you will see me at the events assisting Thomas with the running of the business.
